My fellow Naomh Senain gaels I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting our Birney Madigan inter parish tournament this year. While we all struggle to get to grips with this new normal, we as a parish and a club have shown overwhelming community spirit.
To see so many young and not so young take to the road to help their region while also so kindly donating to our ground development works has been unbelievable. It has left me speechless but proud, proud to be part of something wonderful we have here in this parish of St Senans.
Thank you to all our organisers to our team leaders of each region what a team effort by everyone one. Thank you to the Coughlan/Madigan families who continue to allow us honour club legend Birney Madigan. Thank you to those who are living further afield from our parish but still wanted to take part the connection they have with St Senans is still strong and we are so grateful. This strong sense of community is something we must continue to hold on to and develop and we in St Senans GAA hope that we can help with that by developing the skills of our players and providing them and our community with top class facilities for many years to come. Thank you to our underage players the future of the club and parish I hope you enjoyed this year’s competition.
